Agape-1 Technology A-1 Security Robot

A-1 Security Robot:
Key Features

  • On-Site Data Collection
The A-1 Security Robot uses multimodal sensors to gather visual and audio information, supporting the identification of potential security incidents in real-time.

  • Edge-Based Processing
Local edge computing enables rapid analysis and response without reliance on cloud connectivity.
  • Continuous Operation
Engineered for consistent patrols, the robot operates regardless of environmental conditions or human limitations.
  • Neutral Interaction Presence
Designed as a non-emotional security tool to assist in maintaining order during routine patrols and monitored environments.
  • Low-Light Monitoring Capability
Equipped with specialized cameras to facilitate surveillance in low-visibility conditions.
  • Modular Design for Specialized Tasks
Supports add-on modules, such as robotic arms, for deployments in specific operational scenarios.

Core Technologies

Crime Detection and Deterrence System (CDDS)

  • The CDDS processes data collected from onboard sensors and cameras to evaluate environmental conditions.
  • The system uses a multimodal large language model (LLM) to assess and categorize observed activities.
  • Upon detecting a potential security concern, CDDS directs the robot’s navigation towards the area and activates pre-programmed response actions.

Autonomous Navigation

  • The A-1 Security Robot autonomously navigates designated patrol areas.
  • Sensors detect obstacles in real-time and relay data to CDDS for immediate navigation adjustments, ensuring safe and efficient patrolling.

Research & Development Expertise

Agape-1 Technology conducts all robotics and AI R&D activities at its facility in San Jose, California, in adherence to federal regulations and industry standards.

The company collaborates with academic institutions, including the Robotics, Sensors, and Machine Intelligence (RSMI) Lab at San Jose State University, led by Professor Winncy Du, a visiting professor at MIT.

Our Team and Operational Practices

Agape-1 Technology’s R&D team applies machine learning methodologies to enhance the performance and adaptability of security robotics. The team focuses on practical applications that strengthen robot-environment interactions and ensure effective deployment in various operational contexts.

The A-1 Security Robot operates in coordination with human security personnel, who oversee compliance, conduct monitoring, and support incident response procedures as needed.
